سونگ جونگ کی ( Song Joong Ki) در این سریال نقش فرمانده ی یک گروه حافظ صلح رو داره که در بخشی که احتمال درگیری نظامی وجود دارد بازی می کنه.از اون طرف هم سونگ های کیو (Song Hye Kyo) نقش پزشکی را ایفا میکند که در سازمان خیریه ی بین المللی پزشکان بدون مرز ، فعالیت میکند.این دو شخصیت با وجود تضادهایی که با هم دارند ولی همکاریشان در یک محل پرخطر باعث نزدیکی و ایجاد عشق بین آن ها می شود
